Who would have known that the 1993 race season at Seymour Speedway would have be the start of a very impressive career? Rod Snellenberger started the season having limited experience driving in a Street Stock, but the man now dubbed “Hot Rod Snellenberger” would explode into the IMCA Stock Car division by winning his first IMCA feature win that opening night. Rod recalls this night as “unbelievable,” with his new white #10 seeing the winner’s circle in a class he had just moved into. The feature win was an adrenaline rush, as Snellenberger started near the back and battled his way to the front only to pass the leader, Brian Perlap, coming out of turn 4 for the win.
